To me, any great neighborhood restaurant has to also be a great bar, or the bar has to have restaurant-quality food. I always eat at the bar, because that’s what you do in a place where you feel comfortable. It’s where you get to know the staff and the regulars.

I can’t say I disagree but I’m not sure I’m as harsh as Eric Celeste is being in this article. My dream since I was little was always to live my life as if it were a sitcom and find that one hang out like the Central Perk in Friends, Mclanahan’s in How I Met Your Mother, Chubbies, the Peach Pit or the Max from Saved by the Bell. I’m always looking for that place where I can be the regular, where I know everyone and everyone knows me. Somewhere you can come on your own and spend an evening, just because you don’t feel like cooking and feel just as comfortable.
I guess you could say I’m also looking for what Celeste is looking.
